LEARN A LITTLE:

A SENSE OF MEANING

Someone recently asked me what I meant when I said, “It’s important to have a sense of meaning in our lives.” Meaning is having a full fuel tank and feeling good about it.

If you have ever traveled a long distance “running on empty,” you know what non-meaning feels like.

LAUGH A LITTLE:

REFLECT A LITTLE:

Proverbs 11:25
The generous prosper and are satisfied; those who
refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

READ A LITTLE:

 – SuperBetter – Jane McGonigal – 2015

While the size of this book is daunting at over 400 pages, it is well worth reading, especially for those folks struggling with challenges and obstacles in their lives. It is inspiring to read of Dr. McGonigal’s successful struggle to overcome a serious concussion that caused many serious emotional and cognitive impairments.

Using the research findings of Positive Psychology and the benefits of having a “gameful” mindset, McGonigal outlines the elements of the SuperBetter program.

One of the engaging qualities of the book are the numerous quests that allow the reader to challenge themselves as they read the book.

If you are curious about curiosity this book is for you.
